Soyabean prices gained on short covering after prices dropped driven by higher projection of 2018-19 soybean output.

India, 2018-19 soybean output is projected higher at 13.45 million tons from 10.98 million tons, according to data from agriculture ministry.

India’s total soybean output standing at 11.48 million tonnes during the ongoing harvesting season as compared to 8.36 million tonnes in the previous season.

At the Indore spot market in top producer MP, soybean gained 5 Rupees to 3831 Rupees per 100 kgs.
