* Natural gas fell despite forecasts for higher liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports and warmer weather next week.

* However warmer weather should boost the amount of gas power generators burn to keep air conditioners humming.

* Despite small price increases over the past week or so prices remained under pressure due to near-record production and moderate weather

* Utilities likely added 113 bcf of gas to inventories during the week ended June 14.

Natural gas trading range for the day is 198.5-207.5.

Natural gas ended higher after hitting a more than one-month low earlier in the session, supported by short-covering and expectations of higher demand.

According to data from the EIA, the average total supply of natural gas remained the same as in the previous report week, averaging 87.9 Bcf per day.

Total U.S. consumption of natural gas fell by 2% compared with the previous report week, according to data from the EIA.

Meanwhile, production in the Lower 48 U.S. states averaged a record high 83.3 bcfd over the past 30 days, according to data.

Natural Gas trading range for the day is 188.8-192.6

Natural gas trading range for the day is 188.8-192.6.

Natural gas rose after data showed that supplies in storage rose much less than forecast last week.

The U.S. Energy Information Administration said in its weekly report that natural gas storage in the U.S. rose by 24 billion cubic feet.

Total natural gas in storage currently stands at 2.273 trillion cubic feet (tcf), according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration.
