Zinc futures shed 1.01% on tepid demand

Zinc futures were trading lower during the noon trade in the domestic market on Wednesday as speculators cut down positions taking weak cues from the spot market. Weakness in metals in domestic spot market owing to slackened demand from consuming industries influenced the prices.
